The Schroeder family has their “roots” in horticulture dating back to the depression era when Leonard’s grandmother began selling fresh fruits and vegetables grown on their farm to the local residents for an affordable price. Leonard’s parents carried on that tradition and expanded in to lawn, garden, and landscape supplies. The original family farm is still owned and operated by Leonard’s family. The Schroeder sense of pride and quality has passed through the generations and is still evident today at Bloomers Home and Garden Center.
